Wife had the car today...dinner time got the dredded call..... The 46 is broke!!!! Handbrake shoe fixing pin come out, again!! totaled my shoes again! So anyway RAC man came out removed shoes and made the car safe, ....wife phones me.."RAC man wants a chat".....me "oh F##K". He confirmed my Protector plate behind my disc (where the brake shoe pin locates) was too rusty to hold the pin and needs replacing...(I knew this but thought I'd try get away with it last time) I was about to say bye to him when he said " do you know your rear tyres are bearly legal?" Yes iI did but I tought I'd wait another month "Also you have nails in them both" "oh B######S" Yet again I was about to say bye, when he said " Both your rear shocks are leaking, the worst I have ever seen" "mother F####R!!!!!" And he said all this in front of the wife!! So straight after work she made me go order new rear tyres, rear shocks, shoes, shoe fixing kit, protector plate for both sides....GAV = -£350!!!! There goes my little earner I WAS going to do Saturday :(
