  1. Charlee, what time in the morning will we need to be at Gaydon? I've been invited to a party in Wiltshire the night before, I'm trying to weigh up if it's worth going, (to the party) or not.
  2. Gav, I just sent my £10 by Paypal as per your instructions. Please check it arrived because it's the first time I've done it.
  3. Easy - the car is more sexy, powerful and compliant than any bloke I could ever pull....!
  4. Hello Joanna, don't worry about daft questions - they don't seem to mind mine!
  5. Sorry to hear that Paul. I look out back of my car so much I think I might unscrew my head! But I once reversed into a bloke who'd parked behind me while I was turning the ignition key...............
  6. Thanks for organising it Dave, Was a really good afternoon.
  7. Hello Adam, it was good to meet you today. Having seen two of the photos you took today I CANNOT WAIT to see what you made of the M3!!
  8. It was so groovy to meet everybody. What an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. Pic of Christian is fabulous!!
  9. Charlee I'm sorry too that you're not coming. Would like to meet you. Shall I come and set off the fire alarms?
  10. I agree, no need for a women only section. It's about the cars, not gender. If there are fewer women than men as members, it not a fault in the club that it needs to solve, no, it's just a reflection of the fact that, (at the moment), not as many women are into cars as men. But it is changing........
  11. I'm looking forward to meeting you lot on Sunday. The weather is looking good, well .... dry! I'll have to wash the M3, can't show up with all this mud sprayed up the sides!!
  12. 1. Gav 2. Mart 3. Char 4. Enigma (Becci) 5. Jac
  13. Hello Alan, this is very interesting. I think the thing to do would be ask my insurer what their policy is. Because I don't want to drive any other car - the whole point is to see what the M3 is like when she can really stretch out....
  14. Fellas, in the initial thread about this meet, M1 Kes and Big Al and Tina said they were likely to come, but they haven't confirmed. I'm only a newbie, but do you reckon they might be persuaded?
  15. Like everything else, its hard to do a good comparison of costs, because every place offers a different package. So I've looked at the prices for "open pitlane", (even though I don't know what it means!!) and GP track, or nearest, and in September, because its more expensive in the summer months. Donington £295 (GP track) Snetterton £199 (300 circuit) Brands £169 (Indy track) Silverstone £299 (GP track) Rockingham £240 (Intenational circuit) I think I may be good enough at driving the M3 by September..............
  16. Leigh - it looks as if you've absolutely stumped everybody!! I can't help you either, I look at the comms stuff on my dashboard and my eyes go all blurry! How are you liking the car though, in all other respects?
  17. I am liking the look of the venue Synpa-D
  18. Stockportlad, it was so worth the wait - what a fine looking motor car!
  19. Ke1173 - are you suggesting that I exceed the speed limit ??? Gasp Thanks all for comments. Am going to Google it up now and see how much I will have to pay!!!
  20. Hello everyone, I'm new on the site and I've looked around all over for a thread about track days. I'm hoping somebody has some wisdom to share about them, because know nothing! I want to take my M3 out and let its horses run free!! My brother tells me that Rockingham and Snetterton are the best tracks for a beginner because they've got long curves and good visibility down the track. He also tells me that there is NO INSURANCE on a racetrack. What can you tell me people?
  21. I'm in for this too. I'm new in the club and it would be good to meet some of you. I'm in Huntingdon. So have you got any nearer to a when? and where?
  22. Hey, excellent, my photo is ON - but you can see that!
