  1. well after 3 online quote requests with no reply I phoned for a quote, £2,300 quid lol. apparently your not taking bmw's on cos of a recent rise in claims against them. Insurance is a huge joke, not just adrian flux but all insurance companies. no wonder theres so many uninsured drivers on the road!
  2. yeah i tend to drive the long way round to the shop now, instead of the 100 yard walk down the cut through
  3. Had first trip out in the car yesterday, around 85 mile all round trip to the safari park at knowsley. roads roughly half motorway half A roads plus twice round the park. came back at an average 54 mpg. much better than the 25 mpg in my 1.8 vectra petrol. Off to clean the monkey sh*t off it now :D
  4. Hey, really not keen on the squareish door mirrors on my 320d sport and would prefer some m3 type. would they be a straight fit if i could get hold of some or are there any decent aftermarket items out there?? ta :D
  5. hi mate, welcome to the site, new here myself :)
  6. my problem is i only have 1 yrs no claims bonus. used to have 8 yrs but because i drive a van for work i sold my car and didn't have insurance for over 2 yrs so lost it. Would any insurance company take into account that i've drove the company van for 11 yrs without claims? I do well over 50k miles a year cos i work all over the country. I'm 45 years old and getting quotes well over the 1500 pound mark which i find !Removed! steep tbh I've filled in your quote form but not had an email yet cheers
  7. cheers Gav, feel much better now lol :D
  8. Hi Just bought a 320d m sport. only drove a few miles but everything seems to be in working order, nice power etc. this is the first bmw i;ve owned and also the first diesel. when accelerating and changing gear theres a sort of whoo noise from the engine, bit like a dump valve, is this normal? also the steering feels a lot heavier than other cars i've driven, it has the 18 inch mv alloys on, could it be the sheer size/width of the tyres thats making it feel a bit heavy? thanks in advance Me
  9. will do as soon as i've taken some ;)
  10. Hi, I'm martin, just bought my first beemer, a 320d individual sport in estoral blue. 100k miles on a 53 plate. really happy with my purchase but not done many miles yet ;) Probably gonna have plenty of questions over the next week or so, so bear with me lol
