  1. Hi i agree with Dabsy check all levels are Ok & just ignore the EML unless you want to keep throwing money at it as we all know the other options are realy expensive.
  2. Hi This is a common problem on these X3 cars In fairness you can not blame the dealer as i am sure they must have went down the same route as you by changing components that are thrown up on diagnosis I have worked for BMW for years previously & the main reason for EML lights was poor grade fuel & leaving the tank run low I really think the EML light is there to make the Stealership lots of money
