  3. +1 to all the aboves, i was looking for a 740 to start with but reading about the head gasket probs etc decided to get my 728i sport and absolutely love it, not bad on juice and still has a bit of get up and go. If you go to the tech guides forum, click on 7 series and i posted a site that gives you all the info on the 7 series, also a post on all the common problems but think dabsy covered most and not alot he dont know about 7 s
  4. LOL Al, not sure but Gav might have the safest bet ever in history here LOL
  5. welcome mate , +1 to the aboves tho
  6. had some fitted on my van but after about a month packed up.... my opion not worth it.....look on ebay for some new genuine BMW sensors .....also give them a good clean but no polish as polish can cause that
  7. i could nt resist a little tweak here and there, just a simple mod like a V8 with a supercharger.....Nothing extreme :D
  8. had brembo on my V70R which was very quick and was very impressed with them
  9. Mine is a genuine 728i Mtech Sport, 1- it is on the log book, 2- as jas said the real sports have black headlining, 3- again as jas says they are completely colour coded and de chromed, but the difference is the real sport have a different diff and gear ratio so are slightly faster by about 0.7 of a sec something like that but there is loads out there that have the steering wheel and alloys but are not sports, apparently according to a site i was on the real genuine 7 series sport is quite rare as most wanted the luxury packs but also a genuine sport has firmer suspension and sits a bit lower ......hope this helps

  11. +1 to Jas and Def +1 to Dabsy, remember when i was going out with my missus and she had a Sierra saphire and her starter solenoid went and showed her the famous hammer tap on the solenoid to get it started.....earned some very good brownie points ;)
  12. spot the difference, our twin boys Joe and Josh http://t.co/tNONrE92

  13. very interested on how it looks mate, but scared to look now as it might give me ideas and the missus will kill me......just got rid of the V70r which i spent loads on getting it to 0-60 in about 5.3 secs......i have been warned....
  14. +1 to all the above, why do a full rebuild when you can make it something special......
  15. welcome mate, as jas, I had a 318is years ago and that had plenty of power, had great fun with it, so in the Z3 must be a lot more fun.
