  1. i have 225/45/17 all round at present but might try a slightly smaller size on the front when they wear out,as some claim it helps the handling. You can find em for around £100 or less per corner, ahhh, value for money i love em. If you drive fairly sedately you should see 25000 miles easy on the front and not much less on the back, unless you have traction control turned off.

  2. i run hankooks, and travel flat out most of the time,on mways that is. They get a bit loose at over 130 on twisty bumpy bits, but if the roads fairly normal then you should have no probs. For the money they are unbeatable. Once warmed up they are good enough for the average driver. If your name is Hamilton or Senna then maybe there is something else out there that would be better suited. I stress i am a fast mover, and most do not travel at the speeds i do. I reiterate, performance is tip top for the money, they even wear well. My sons 325 runs contis and i still rate the Kookies compared to them. I run my 328 0n as cheap a budget as possible, and have tried various tyres over the last 100,000 miles and i wont be looking elsewhere when tyre time comes around. Oh yea on my last trip to Germany they took all the Autobahns by storm, even in atrocious weather they came through,it was a pleasure too test them in horrendous rain storms. Dont be fooled by the Brands, unless your on a track or against a clock then these are good enough.

  3. ok my bumper just got whacked in the tesco carpark, anyone taken a back bumper off and refitted it? If so how hard? After my last triumph of diy,on my sticky sunroof i am ready for another challenge. Am led to believe its a matter of some bolts hidden in the boot some where, if youve done this job i would love to hear your comments.

    Thanks jim

  4. must be the viscosity, as it stays on for about 5 sec or so then goes out. never had the prob till i had mobil put in. Or maybee those pirates aint using the oil they claim, and its some cheap poo

  5. The yellow warning light still comes on for a short while after starting,is this coz the oils too thin,or is the sensor shagged? Yes the oil is in there,i checked. Slightly annoying but i can live with it.

  6. its only a matter of time and they will get it back.We cant defend it,no navy,no air force and few men available.our days as a military power are over.If the Argies weren't so !Removed! they could take it easy. Armchair Generals beware,we got lucky last time.As the father of a soldier serving in Afghanistan right now,i know what crap the servicemen have to put up with.If volunteers are called for to defend it i bet there wont be a rush, easy to talk a battle less easy to fight one with substandard equipment and miles from any decent supply line. What ho,lets give johnny foreigner a kicking, get real! We have virtually no armed forces,we are committed to the stan till 2015,we don't have the capability.
