  1. Hi John....welcome to the Forum Wow! 7000 miles on a 2007 car, that's a hell of a find. I'm sure it just needs driving around to loosen everything up after doing such low miles. Although the tyre pressures may lighten things up if inflated a little higher?
  2. I think DAB is the way forward, although you would still need an aerial to receive the stations. I believe they do a DAB aerial that adheres to the inside of the windscreen but don't quote me on that
  3. Hi Warren.....welcome to the Forum I have previously owned a Tuning Box (on a Honda CRV 2.2 cdti) and unfortunately sold it when I sold the car. It takes about 10 -15 minutes to fit yourself. However, in the time that I have it fitted, it vastly improved the driveability of the car, made it more flexible on the transmission (didn't need to change up constantly to maintain road speed), the economy improved by at least 15% and quite frankly cried when I took it off....what a difference it made! I fitted it with the intention of improving the economy and this is exactly what it did....I didn't however, buy it with a huge performance increase in mind. I would say, go for it, you won't regret it !
  4. Hi Craig....welcome to the Forum ....welcome also to the wonderful world of BMW Good to have you onboard
  5. oh dear! Just as important as winding back a caliper piston is to ensure it is done correctly...e.g. hose clamped so no pressure is going up in the reverse direction into the ABS modulator or Master Cylinder (only takes a few seconds to fit) and then crack the bleed nipple off and twist or push the piston back in....zero pressure required as the bleed nipple is open and also expels the old fluid. Takes about 20 seconds longer and ensures zero damage to the braking system.
