Might seem a daft question but wtf is mopping a car compared to detailing or such things... Bare in mind I come from just using a bit of zipwax, autobrite, mag background and would a wet n dry sandpaper going over make much of a difference on mine now to smooth the paint. Still settling down but it's driveable on 9j et7....wish I could go lower out back but I'm not prepared to ruin the rear arches anymore. Problem is its a bit nose down so I might raise the front an inch at least.

Current specs

8 j Et 7 fronts... 215 40 18 tyres.. Neg camber 2.5

9j et 7 rears...... 215 40 18 tyres.. Neg camber 3.25

How does the e39 v8 compare to a e46 330 or maybe a e39 530 d on economy, insurance, power etc... Only owners comments or ex owners as I'm toying with going back to a 4 door but always fancied the e39 for comfort and build quality???

Tighter than tight but I've managed to get the 15mm spacers on rear on top of 9 j et22... Cue some cutting, raising slightly and adjustment but down to tucking 9 j Et 7 now.

Week to go till Duxford list to do..

Sort drivers side arch fittment

Sort a rubbing issue

Raise the rear and add 15 mm spacers

Passenger side front door speaker grill

Rear offside alloy scuff
