Ok guys Hotrods diner will be opening in Kent in early June I'm planning on organising a meet in late July and if we can get enough interest maybe a monthly evening meet. It's going to be a car meeting based diner (the clue is in the name ) lol

Would also be an ideal meeting place to set off from to larger meets ie Santa pod and Gaydon if your traveling from the Kent area.

Keep an eye on the coolent levels and make sure you top it up with the correct coolent ie red or blue

As for sat nav I found enemy I had my 52 plate 4.6 the sat nav was so long winded to input data that I never used it always used my phone or Tom Tom

Hence the reason I no longer have it and now cruse the streets of Kent in the V8 E65 7 series !!!!!!!

Hi when the auto box went in my 4.6 V8 E53 it was gonna cost me best part if 2k to rebuild mine six months after I had all rear sub frame bushes replaced at a cost of £500

Gav is right rear sub frame bushes will need changing at around the 100k mark depending on its previous life they do well to last over 80,000 to be honest.

Also not sure about post 2004 models but pre 2004 can suffer gearbox problems

I just listed this on eBay if anyone is interested be quick tho not sure how long it will last

This is true that it's only worth what someone is willing to pay and book price is prob less than the £750 offered what you need to remember is it's a 5.0 petrol v12 this alone will scare the pants off most buyers however if it is mint there are people out there that would pay top dollar for it you would need to advertise in targeted market ir classic car mags or BMW forums ond publications all they said you will prob struggle to get 5k for it
