  1. Hi again, BMW Sytner have fixed my parking sensors. Apparently the prognosis was a faulty control box. 4.5 hours labour which includes diagnosis and fix. At £150 per hour Labour charge plus the cost of the control module. I LOVE MY WARRANTY. LoL.

Hi, delilah nice car. What colour did you buy. Any pics??
  3. Hello Everyone. As you may already know, I'm new to BMW's and also new to Turbo Diesels. So I apologise if I'm askingbasic questions! I travel about 1.5 miles to work and 1.5 miles back home 4-5 days a week. I might cover another 20-30 miles on top of the 12-15 already mentioned. So30-45 a week. All these miles just cruising below 2500 revs. This is more often than not the bulk of my driving. I have been told by my son who has only ever driven TD's that I need to take it out on a drive and give it a bit of 'welly' to clean out the DPF. Is this correct and if so; how often and for how long?
  4. Just a quick update. Parking sensor issues being addressed Tues 23.2.16. Booked into BMW Sytner Birmingham. Under Warranty of course. Paul; (E46King) if you read this, I will let you know what the problem was as soon as I get my car back from them.

£130 / 6 months on the 1.8 ltr petrol Celica. £30 / YEAR ON THE 2.0 ltr 118d BMW. LoL. Absolutely mind blowing.
  9. Yes plenty of warranty. Booked in 2/2/16 to be fixed by the main dealer I bought it from. Thankyou for your help. Happy days
  10. Hello to everyone. I'm Paul. New member. New owner. E82 118d m sport. Loving it but feel like I'm in a futuristic film. LoL. Not had any experience of modern cars or turbo diesels. I am slowly learning all of the menu's and options. May be easier to take a degree. LoL. Should have swapped from my old Celica years ago. This Bmw is as fast, I get twice the mpg, I save £230 a year in tax and my insurance is cheaper. Better late than never I guess. Anyway just wanted to say hello. From Celica to BMW. LoL What's a Celica again???
  11. Seems like it does?
  12. I will check. Thanks didn't think of that.
  13. Hello my name is Paul I Recently bought a 2010 E82 m sport. I was under the impression that all m sport E82 had rear parking sensors. I can't seem to find it. I thought it was one of the buttons to the left of the MSA manual override button but these are blanks. Can anyone help please ?
