for 8k you will get a really nice 320d touring.what year are you thinking? are you going to stay with the e46? if so i think you wouldnt have to spend anywhere near that.more like 4.5/ 5k

i have the cassette adapter in mine.works a treat.there is however a video on youtube where they manage to fit an aux input into the back of the stereo

i would go for the 325 mate.i have an e46 330d and its an amazing car.i went for the saloon because i will soon have 3 kids.the coupe will set you back a few more quid but they do look better with less doors. if i was you i would go for an e46 rather than an e90.you could probably get a 330d coupe then......can i ask your budget?

i have heard they do a lot more harm than good...is your car spluttery or rubbish mpg?

fair play mate....have a good look round it.check all the door shuts line proppery.check it stops ok and in a straight line.also the hand brakes arent the best. overall though it'll be a rwd bmw .so go ahead and get one.ace cars mate

welcome along mate.why dont you just buy a 318? those compacts look a bit dated imo.....if you have your heart set on a compact though things to look out for are... suspension bushes...listen for knocks electric windows...these tend to play up rusty arches...especially rears i'm sure there are other things to look out for that others will add hope that helps
