My 1997 740 has proably reached the end of its ecomomical life, it needs about £900 of odd jobs for the MOT and it's probably not worth that. Additionally, I am getting too blind to use it safely, and we have another family car anyway. It seems a shame to take £300 from the local scrapyard since it all works well, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a better disposal of a car I have had for about 12 years and to me feels like part of the family. It's almost as bad as taking your dog on a last trip to the vet. If there is an appropriate selling venue on the forum please redirect me.
