  1. Nah, he's not dead. He did a deal with the americans to give up the real leaders of Al Qaeda in return for a nice shiny new compound in the nevada desert. They gave him area 51 where he will live with the roswell aliens and hitlers brain in a jar. Of course he's dead.
  2. Woo Hoo - It's here and it's certainly not !Removed!!

  3. Got it driven it. Superb, esp when some WVM tried to out pace me for a lane on the motorway - damn for a big beast it's quick! Photos to follow after the weekend, we're driving it to Wales so I'll get some nice beach/harbour ones. If you're lucky I'll even try to find some girls in bikinis to drape over it, although you may have to settle for my Staffy...
  4. Seems I've started something here... Doubt I can help with the experiment as no-one else seems to have an X1. Happy to give the Shell/BP option a go IF the extra fuel economy is worth the extra 4p a litre that my local BP charges over my local Sainsbury. With price for Sainos at 139.9 and BP at 143.9 with an average mpg of 50, if my GCSE math from 1992 is correct, Billy would have four apples and the train would arrive at 4.15pm. Is that right?!!
  5. Took a taxi yesterday and the driver was talking about diesel costs (presumably a woe is me sorry about prices to get a bigger tip!), he also mentioned that buying your diesel from Asda, Sainsbury Tesco etc was not a good idea - he said that it burns black, and you should buy from Shell or BP. Is he talking cr*p or is there an actual benefit to paying more for your diesel and buying it from one of the petrol retailers rather than supermarkets?
  6. 11am today! It will be here in just 80 minutes! I feel like a kid at xmas, I've been so excited about this for soooo long!
  7. Delorian, no contest. Dude the thing can time travel!
  8. 1878? A fellow Evertonian?

  9. I haven't seen many X1s on the road, and I can understand peoples reasons why they wouldn't want one, but surely I can't be the only X1 owner (in 18 days and counting) that is on the site? Surely?
  10. Thanks folks! It's Alpine White so no minor scratches will show ;) With regard to budget I dont want to spend hundreds per month but not adverse to a few hundred a year for tip top inside and out. I will of course provide some pics when it arrives - taking it on a nice run to south wales the day after I get it so I'll take some pics at the beach lol
  11. 35... No way could I afford a bimmer when I was 19! I thought this was austerity Britain!!!
  12. Nice motor, shame about that hideous old car kit ruining the dash. Them wheels do look well good though, you've done a great job there.
  13. Hello everyone. I am a former 118d owner, now stuck in a crappy Focus awaiting delivery of my X1. I can't wait to get back into a decent motor! Any hints on keeping my new baby looking sweet will be greatly appreciated, esp. as it will be doning around 25k miles a year!
  14. My new X1 20d SE sdrive is delivered on the 28th of April. I can't wait!
