  1. Hi Guys, New to the forum and already asking for help. I have sheered the locking key on my 2004 x3 so cant get the nuts off to fix a puncture. I believe they are original bmw locking nuts and i have the packaging they came in with a code on. However my local BMW dealer has said the code isnt a code they would use to order one. I have considered the whole splined socket method of removing them but would prefer just to get a new key. Is there a way to get replacement keys from the code on the back of the packet or any other method of finding it? Cheers! x3fan
