did your rear diff have a leak? If you clumped the sump a few times then perhaps the diff also had a knock and broke the seal. This happened to me once before.

hi They can do, the oil has to get around the engine. Which oil grade are you using? Also brand? old oil can make it sound worse, so you may want to check the last service. Always buy the best oil you can find, your car will thank you for it.

Sounds like the roof may not have closed fully. Perhaps it may need to manually be closed in order for the switch to recognise its fully closed. Also the area where the roof is stored, is it clear?
