Advice On Price Please

Recommended Posts

Hi all , I've seen a 09 cooper with chilli pack, half leather and body kit with 27000 miles on the clock , 1 owner and full service history. This seems a good price to me or do you think I should haggle a bit because its from a dealers ? Any advice welcomed and appreciated.

Thanks Gary

Best advice is to look thru the Auto Trader at private prices to compare, if you're still determined to use a Dealer (Stealer) then rub your chin often and get extras thrown in such as FREE MOT's, servicing, warranties and fuel ;)

I all I missed out on the 09 cooper so I have just bought a 08 cooper with chilli pack and 35,000 miles , full service history and two previous owners for £7,400 and I pick it up on Wednesday. The test drive was amazing , the car drives brilliantly and like nothing I've drove before. It's smooth, quick , instant response from steering , brakes sharp and the gear change is superb. The interior is nice and tidy not fussy at all with push button start and the clocks look great. The seats are comfy with the half leather and the whole package is fantastic.

Thanks for listening Gary

Note to Gary: "You're too soft lad !"

You should have "Praised" the car then walked away for a couple of days and I guarantee you'd have got a call with another deal on that car

The main thing is you're happy with it BUT , at the first sign of an issue, drive it straight onto the forecourt and toss the keys on the counter adding the phrase "Sort it out" B) :D
