hi ,i bought a 53 plate x5 3.0d sport with a towbar fitted but no detachable towball, i bought a towball off ebay but it does'nt fit, part number is 1097190, could someone please help me with a part number that will fit my towbar, many thanks.

    Only place I can suggest is ebay, but I would urge you to contact your local dealer (with your VIN) to establish the fitment.

    Better alternative is to fit an aftermarket one !

    In either case, you must install a larger cooling fan - Trust me ;)

    Most X5's have Westfalia as OEM , you could try calling them or one of their dealers in UK .
