M3 Reps, 225 tyres all round?

  • Author

m3 reps cheers 225 front 255 rear

Odd, as I ran the exact same wheels on my coupe and tourer, both were lowered and got no problems.

Looking from the rear of your car, do the wheels look at different camber?

None of the arch lining is loose?

  • Author

none of the arch lining is loose dont know about the camber look tomorrow post pick, but putting my hand under the arch seems like theres more room on nearside but not a lot of difference

Jack it up mate.

Take wheel off and check for cracked spring.

Best way to do it is unbolt the shock from the bottom bolt and take spring out.

  • Author

ill have a look the weekend.i thought the spring went around the shock, but i looked under the car and the shocks stand alone could only just see the springs which also stand alone.

Yeah different set up to the fronts.

Also while your there check the condition of shocks, as BMW standards are pretty weak

I'd check the trailing arm bushes as well, when they went on my E36, the car was noticably lop-sided!
