I have had persistant engine management issues with my 2008 330i covertible, anyone who has had similar issues?

    Sure, How long have you got!

    Fortunately, the car is under an extended warrantee, so it has been back to the BMW Dealer on at least 6 occasions.

    Key problem has been the enjine running roughly and misfiring to the extent that the engine warning light has come on.

    In the visits to the Garage they have done all sorts of things, new injectors, re programmed the computer and the latest fix took 3 weeks, they replced the head gaskets and pistons. Apparently there was significant carbon build up in the engine block, the valves had to be cleaned etc. After all this is still runs really roughly when cold so I am at my wits end! Due back in the Garage next week!
