E30 Baur Help And Parts

Hi I've got a BMW 1.8 E30 Baur on a M10 engine with no power steering and I'd like to convert it to power steering. Does any one have any advice/comments or know where I can source parts? Did BMW ever make a 1.8 on a M10 engine with power steering?

You'll have trouble mounting the pump to the block but not impossible. Steering components will also need changing for the intake of PAS fluid.

You don't need PAS on such an old car. Enjoy her for what she is my friend as converting is a very laborious task and you MUST know how to engineer something to fit where it is not suppose to be.

Thanks for the advice, I'm still thinking about it because I think it will make the car easier to handle.
