Drivers Door Won't Unlock.

Hey everyone, so on my BMW 318i Touring (E30) the drivers door wont unlock, it will lock, but not unlock. the passenger dooe won't lock or unlock the car either, and currently I have to unlock the car from the boot. It's not so much of a problem to be honest but it's just annoying to have to unlock the car from the boot every time. Has anyone else had this problem? If so have you found a solution? I've had the doorcard off to look at the locking mechanism but I don't really know anything about central locking lol. There is a connector that has nothing plugged into it but I couldn't find anything to plug into it. I'm assuming the lock barrel has been changed before because the key is different to the one which starts the car and unlocks the boot. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

      Morning Joe Not sure about "nothing urgent" one can stop the car starting at all, and the other could indicate overheating that could end in a broken engine !!! Dave

      Resonator assembly clip

      Morning Clifford Welcome to the Forum If you are not aware take a look at www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin into the search box, it will bring up your model then look in the Exhaust section The only part I am aware of BMW call a "fixing Bow" it goes on the rear silencer flap actuator assembly Good luck Dave

      Resonator assembly clip

      I am new to site and just bought a used 2017 330i xdrive. I was going through the engine trying to get to know it a little and I found a resonator assembly clip sitting near the resonator but connected to nothing so I’m trying to figure out where it goes?       04 525d

      Hi all, I have an 04 525d that I’m looking to get rid of. It has been well used and served me well but unfortunately I’m not willing to spend any more on it due to the age. It has 185,000 on the clock and recently failed it’s MOT due to perished ball joints. my question is, is it worth trying to mess about and sell it or just scrap it? any advice would be greatly appreciated. cheers
