Hi i posted earlier, finally picked up my 5 series I love it. Next question is it worth remapping? Does it really improve mpg aswell? I was thinking of a tuning box, any advice would b much appreciated

    welcome mate, i had a 530d Mtech Sport with a remap, it went like sh*t of a shovel, much quicker than the 330ci i had before and its mid range torque was incredible, best of all i was still getting at least 45mpg ...def worth it

    Id do the silly mods if u wanna do any at all firsr though,

    I.e. induction kits / exhaust etc

    Or u wont benefit from them if done after a remap

    I would go for a re-map as it will be "Tailored" to your car (yes more power AND better mpg)...

    Tuning boxes are stock items and will work (not as good as a re-map), only other benefit is that it can be removed !!
