Seized Sunroof Motor

Recommended Posts

here's one for the captain, is it possible for the sunroof motor to seize up? I have stripped my sunroof, no problems inside, dropped the motor out and pressed the button, no sign of life. When I try and crank it with the manual handle they provide I can't move it, no amount of effort will make it turn either way. Is it possible for the motor to be burned out and seized?

Thanks for any help

Yes Jimmy, the bushes inside the motor may be expired ! Easy fix if you can get into it to change them, but, the time it may take to do this might make you want to just get another motor...

Motor bushes are pennies matey ;)
