Hi, I have just bought a 2000 330d and am looking for a little more power as its a bit lazy in the lower rev range, so I am proberley looking for a remap!!

Just wondering if anyone has some good recomendations?? I am just outside of Hull, I dont mind a good drive if I have to to get a proper job done!!

Also was after opinions on the tuning units on ebay or are they a stay clear??

Any help muchly appreciated

Cheers Graham

hi mate welcome along.yes steer clear of "chips" they tend to do more damage than good....a good place for a remap that people have recommended to me is emaps.have a look online for them.i emailed a bloke called simon from there who was really helpful.remapping a 330d will get you some great results too.

hope that helps mate

As Martin says, also, if you intend to mod the car then do the mods before the re-map ;)

not really after doing mods to the car as ive got my astra for the weekend fun :)

I just want the bmw a bit more useable in the low revs, try and get the turbo in a bit lower!!

Just emaile emaps hopfully they will get back to me tomorrow, any idea on price??

A couple of hundred at a guess

Re-Map really ganna make much difference on a big diesel 3ltr lump? Would rather get some mods under the hood..

Someone once told me, Re-Map isn't all that as its only a marginal difference and most of the time not worth the energy it takes to even open your wallet...

Hmmm... Why not drop a diesel into the Crastra and a 4.0 ltr into the 3
