Diagnostics say knock sensor bank 2 but garage tellin me knock sensors very rarley fail and its somethin else, aint been serviced for 4 years/40,000 miles and as money is tight i am reluctant to service it and spend loads on it if the problem still gunna b there.

Is there any1 near weston-super-mare that fancies havin a nosey for me all i can offer is bacon sarnies n tea or coffee.

Really need help cheers

Hi Sam, have you checked your electrics, I would at least regularly change the oil and check timing etc, costly if it goes wrong, hope you get your problem resolved.

Hi i wouldnt know where to start with the electrics, and it was the owner before who neglected it and didnt service it. But i shall see how it goes.

An auto electrician may be cheaper than a garage, hope someone can help you, no cheap mobile mechanics near you.

That my prob mate absolutly skint so need the chespest/free option hence me askin if there is any1 close that could look over it.

I would definitely do a service on it. If its not had 1 for so long its amazing how much difference it makes. But I wouldn't get rid of it unless you can do without a car, you don't know what you'll end up with if you get another car. If you sort the beemer out you know it shouldn't go wrong again, as long as you keep it up to date on servicing and maintenance. Good luck whatever bud.:)

If you need the car, is it possible to get a loan from Credit union, as offer the cheapest possible interest rates and are there to help you
