Did the E61 have a non-slide sunroof?
Morning Oliver Welcome to the Forum As far as I am aware they should be Tilt and Slide. There were some well documented incidence of them failing over the years and they can be a pain to fix from what I have read. Never done one personally, that may explain your specialists reaction. You could use a Vin Decoder to get the original build sheet the item to look for is S402A electric powered roof Dave -

bmw 320d 61plate
hi all i have a bmw 320d ime getting fumes coming inside the car when i come to a stand still like at lights ! ive had my exhaust stripped down and he said it was the DPF drove it away and still the same 🤷♂️ so i took it back and he said he replaced a gasket on the turbo drove away all good for now next day smelling fumes again and now its !Removed! me off i have spent over a grand now and the car still smells in side ? does any one now or had the same problems thanks franny
