Does it smell of burnt oil at the tailpipe ?

If it IS burning oil then first have a look at each spark plug, this should point you to one, or more suspect cylinder(s)...

If you find a black/sooty plug, initially this could just mean its running too rich but, as you are losing oil, this could be part of the fault...

Oil can enter the cylinders from either of three places - Head gasket, piston rings or valve guides/seals...

Let me know about the tailpipe test and the plugs, then we'll find your problem...
