right first off hi! i need a bit of help i have just bought a e46 328 coupe, the problem is the front speakers aint working & wanted to know what size speakers will fit? can i fit 17cm speakers & if so how deep (what mounting depth) can i go to, without cutting up my doors as thats a no no for me.

i believe that is the size for the coupe door speakers, also i think the major thing is the depth of the speaker so a big magnet isnt going to be ideal.

not to sure the biggest depth you can get though

Get a Posy and a flat-blade screwdriver and take the door skin off !!!

i know how to do it ive done it before, ive just heard lots of people say that its a tight fit & lots of speakers wont fit. i dont want to waste my cash & get speakers that wont fit in the gap. what speakers are you lot using?

Havent got speakers in my doors,they in the kick panels on the foot wells on an e36,soz cant help more than that
