Hello,

First of all, I’m new user but this post is not sponsorised or something. I just wanted to add a review And maybe help people to decide to get the same decision I did.

I did so many research on internet to find a way to add CarPlay on my X1 F48 (2020) and I wasn’t up for adding a side box (because my old HU didn’t have WiFi natively) and to have to press a button 5 sec to get the CarPlay menu. After this introduction, I thought that replacing the head unit was a good option but not easy to find the part and someone that install CarPlay like all in one package.

Fortunately, I found a website (they have a shop on eBay as well) named NaviAndBmwParts (will not paste the full url here, just search for it if you are interested) and they were selling a HU compatible (of course it’s second hand) with my car and with WiFi antenna and CarPlay pre installed.

I finally ordered and finished to install it today. After giving control to a engineer they activated the system and I’m now enjoying the life and my car because I can use CarPlay like all of my friend having a BMW now 🙂

thanks again and don’t hesitate to purchase on the website or eBay, the support is online 7/7 24/24 and they respond quickly.
