I've just received an email advising that the BMW Connected Drive is due to expire. What happens if you don't renew & are there more cost effective options available? £79/Yr for the basic package is a bit steep

    If you don't renew your subscription the service should just end. They may send a few "reminder messages" to try and get you to renew but £70 for what? How often have you used it ? If you are one of the folks who have Amazon Alexa in your ? Or have your phone configured as a digital key then you may miss it.

    I can sit in my drivers seat and push a button or two without moving so for me Alexa is redundant (Alexa is also hackable)
