Hello BMW X5 owners!  I have a 2018 X5 that I absolutely love.  This past spring/summer I had two different Pirelli run flat tires come apart, literally, going 80 MPH on the interstate, both causing extensive damage each time to the car.  The car is regularly serviced at BMW dealerships.  The first time I thought it was maybe fluke, but when it happened again I became more concerned.  Fortunately, each time I was able to safely get the car to the side of the road.  However, it could've been tragic had another car been close or had I rolled the car.  Long story short, I filed a claim with Pirelli on the second tire and the tire was mailed to them.  Pirelli came back yesterday that it was a road hazard issue.  There is no way.  I am asking for full documentation.  Has anyone else had this issue with Pirelli tires on their BMW?  They are Pirelli Scorpion Verde. It seems one has to be injured or killed to get their attention.
