Hi guys.  My first post (only had my car a week). I have an E60 520i and been looking for some decent wheels not too pricey to replace my Mr Patel 16"s with rubber ring tyres. 

I've bought some bbs le mans style 18"s with the following specs (they came off a 3 series)

Front - 18x8.5 et35 with tyres 225/40/18

Rear - 18x9.5 et40 with tyres 255/35/18

My question is the recommended ET is 18 for front and 32 for rear.  The front definitely needs a spacer at least 15mm but do you think I'll need a 5mm spacer for the rear or will it be ok?

    ET40 is quite high in my opinion, how did you get on?

    yeah worked fine put 15mm spacers on front + bolts and 5mm+bolts on back as well. drives fine had no problems. the 5mm were just shims whereas the 15mm spacers were hubcentrics
