Trailer Towbar Electrics

Hi All,

I am on a short break so will introduce myself later,

For now i have problem with the Helbako module in the boot. The boot got full of water (my fault) on a caravan weekend and this got submerged, after drying the besyyt i could and on towing the caravan home the lights on the van weres like a light show when i left the site, half an hour later alll worked well but the car complained about everthing. The module had suffered from moisture before and a chip (5v regulator) had a leg rusted off, i replaced this but only the brake lights now work.

So i need a new one, question is when it is out the Idrive is down, so could I upgrade the idrive to have sat nav at the same time or is there more to it?

and where would be the best place to get a good one (nott £250 plus from the stealers)?
