Scraped Alloy, Official Repair?

Hello all,

I bought a 1 series 2 days ago, loving it. Unfortunately I have just noticed a graze around the rim of one of the alloys. It's a 2x7cm scrape around the very edge of the rim. I'm not certain if I just missed this before buying, or if I really managed to scrape it on a kerb myself (I didn't notice kerbing it, I only saw the graze when I was inspecting the disc brakes!). Either way, gutted. The wheels looked fantastic.

Considering my options here. Undoubtedly taking it to BMW directly and going the official route will be more pricey, but what can I expect to pay? Is it worth it? How long does it take?

Or, am I a fool for considering going the official route? Anyone know of the risks of going the cheaper route? (E.G. incorrect colour matching, bubbling over time, etc.) Anyone have any recommendations in the Surrey area?

Thanks in advance!
