Hi all thought this would be a good place to start as looking for a new used bmw convertible prob a 330 but I would appreciate any advice, horror stories, things to look out for and really anything else that I have missed out on. I want a petrol as lots of short trips and a 3 series looks liket he right size. I have heard the e46 m3 requires regular maintenance, is this true. And the 335 is one to leave alone so looking prob 2007 330 . Thoughts

    there all good models. m3 with the grunt. 335 with the superb smooth power. 330 would be spot in the middle as an everyday all rounder blender. tough choice there but I would strongly go for what you are thinking of which to me seems the smarter & sensible choice.
