320D Loosing Coolant

K-seal is no good for a leaky water pump. Works great for things like head gaskets but waterpump? nooooo. It spins therefore relys on a seal to input torque yet keep water IN!

Flush out that K-seal stuff and replace the waterpump. If you have an electric fan then jobs a gooden, if you have a viscous... well... still easy but fiddly and a bit of a pain.

Water pump is CRAZY important and go wrong often so, get it out and wack a new one in. After market cheaper ones i find are BETTER than BMW Genuine (imo). I'm doing a Cambelt on friday and the water pumps getting changed even though it's fine. To important and fairly cheap NOT to....

We can help you do this....

You're right Daz, the water-pumps' constant spin AND leak combo simply compounds the issue when using K-Seal as it is designed to seal minor defects at a heated pressure-point as opposed to continuous flow
