Just bought an X5 and struggling with the entertainment options. I have TV's built in headrest's and game pad plugs in centre console but no idea how to get it all working. I was wondering if there is a site to find a user guide to all the options. I've looked through the paperwork and can't find any instructions on the in car entertainment. If anyone could help that would be great.

    Hi there Mark,

    there is a separate handbook for the optional in-car systems, if you haven't got one then visit/call a BMW dealership for one or even scour Ebay ;)

    Ok thanks, got the handbook for the dash computer but that's it. Any ideas on updated the computer to Bluetooth or is that £££££££££££££'s?

    Bluetooth: This usually requires that the BT module is present.

    These are expensive if not, but many just go for aftermarket anyway (if dollars are scarce) ;)

    Anytime, try and source the Entertainment options manual...

    BT modules are usually placed near the changer, aerial amplifier etc if that helps !
