Handbrake

As Lee has said, you can tighten that all ya want, if the cable has stretched past a certain point, it really won't make much difference.

I'm yet to own a 46 (too toooo new for my blood) but, on my 36s the handbrake could ALSO be tightened under the leather gaitor INSIDE the cab? Have a look?

BMW E46, Hand brake is poo anyway, 2... WHY THE HELL DO YOU WANT TO DO HAND BRAKE TURNS!!! you will break it. Its rear wheel drive, if you are that way inclined, use the power and the REAR WHEEL DRIVE!!.
