Hi all

Im currently running a 2006 330i M Sport, petrol, manual.

Just recently i have noticed a faint whine / grumbling noise from my power steering whilst cornering.

Also when on full lock im occationally getting a screech from the power steering.

Can anyone give me any advice or pointers as to what the problem may be?

Fluid getting old or needing a top up and the belt needs replacing.

first check your fluid levels. second take a look at the belt condition & adjustment. its most likely one of the either -

Topped up the fluid & still making noises.

I'll get my mechanic to check the belt.
