First Impressions Of A 320D - E90

Well, I've had my 320D for almost a week now. This has been my first BMW (it's a 2008 model) and generally I would say it scores highly over the Audi A3 I had before. It's the M-Sport in Le Mans Blue with the 177bhp engine. My only gripes are: start/stop cutting out on my driveway! I tend to coast down our steep driveway and, of course, the engine cuts out! No height adjustment on seatbelts - very odd not to have this! Apart from that, it's a great car. Quieter than the Audi despite same engine size (Audi was 138bhp). The stereo, despite being a 'base model' isn't that bad but I am replacing the 4 speakers. Bluetooth, iDrive, voice recog commands, auto wipers, auto lights and heated seats make for a quality feel. Not sure about brushed aluminium contrast with ivory leather but beggars cannot choosers be!
