Hi I am a newby

Not sure where to post this question

My oil light comes on about 10 seconds after I start up and stays on ( in yellow btw) for about 10 seconds then goes off , oil levels are fine

It is a 2003 330ci covert

    Last service about 2 months ago, the light has only just started happening about a week or so ago. Any ideas ?

    I wouldn't say its losing oil, merely priming itself. I hear you saying "After seven weeks?", although it had an oil change the sump and pick-up will still be fouled and whoever did the service would not have cleaned these so expect a light at some point as the new oil will only dilute it !

    She's just getting upto pressure matey ;)
