Hi guys, just bought a 3 series and i've been reading a little here and there about some basic upgrades for the car and just wanted your thoughts on each, where I can get the parts/get the upgrade done and how much would they cost.

1. I've got 18" wheels and thinking about getting 19" wheels. Will there be any negative impact on performance on the car? Any places I could do a swap or best places to buy?

2. Also considering an ECU remap. How much of a boost would that give me? Any recommended garages in London? Prices?

3. Any place I can get a painted lip spoiler? Again will it have any affects on performance? best price?

4. Finally, i've got an iphone 5 and wanted to know the best place I can get a snap in cradle. I hear there's different types but concrete info is scarce. Best places to buy? Prices?

you can upgrade to bigger rims for cosmetic looks but it will effect performance with a drop in acceleration marginally.

the remap depends on how healthy your engine is which can be mapped to the highest safest margin. the mapper who carries out this can tell you what boost you can run for your optimal power/fuel.

lip spoiler is hardly going to make any difference on performance unless you get a bigger spoiler for the air flow to push through at high speeds which again will be marginally noticeable.
