Looking for advice on best way to go about dealing with bad bubbling on front side passenger wing/wheel arch in titan silver from a 330ci 2001. I bought car back in november from a dealers and it wasant that bad car came with a replacement wing so i got car but within the space of 2mths bubbling has got severe and now its started on drivers side in all. Ive been told by a friend that replacement part would be hellish to fit and respray and that i would just be better getting a strait swap 2nd hand part but ive looked on ebay cheapest being about £150 and no sure if i could trust it.

Guest Mr.Beemer

welcome to the forum -

it all depends how bad the rust is on the wing panel.

you can get it repaired but also depends on the type of body work carried out. the rust can appear again if fibre glass/p40/p38 is used. some would cut & weld a metal piece to get rid of the rust section.

the time & effort would cost. you rather look for another decent wing panel preferably in the same colour which would land you with similar cost if you were to repair.

- I like the evo 6 in your avatar :D
