E46 Rear Exhaust Box

Any exhaust shop will be able to supply and fit an OEM quality back box to such a popular vehicle.

There are plenty of after market ones on the internet to make it a bit more "Fruity" but, that is completely up to you. I would get the one the shop recommends if you want a standard set-up as they almost always give a warranty when the parts are supplied by THEM.

Thanks for your prompt reply . I plan to keep the car as original so a standard system it will be.Any thoughts on stainless steel? Cheers.

What about stainless steal? What do you want too know?

How much will it cost?

It is pointless putting stainless steel on the back of old oem pipe. If you go SS, have the entire exhaust done.

Get a quote from your local exhaust fitter (E.g PowerFlow)

If your wanting a stainless steel back box then its best to get the b-pipe done aswell so a complete cat-back in stainless would be the best option from a custom exhaust place, plus they will be able to make it look OEM.
