Might sound too easy but try unpluging it leaving it for a minute then plug back in its amazing how many things correct themselves that simply.

Just looked at the pic don't think mines got that hole, is there another way to take them out easily or does the headlight have to come out first?

How easy is it to remove the front indicators? just wondered as ive ordered some new ones with clear lenses and black internals to match the headlights and clean the front up abit. Cheers.

I think HID's should be error free but just wanted to check, I think its only external leds that produce error messages you can get canbus free leds but the ones I got are not smd and are shaped like original 501's so should give off a more rounded beam of light rather than a direct beam.

Looks nice matey was it easy enough to do? I want to wrap my dash trim as its a abit scratched, tried spraying it but without filler and a rub down all the marks still show so carbon wrapping it is.

Has anyone fitted HID's to their e46? are they plug and play like in most other cars or do they throw up error messages on the dash? want to upgrade mine as soon as possible not used to having regular dull yellow headlights but don't want to splash out on some to find they don't work, also has anyone changed their 501 sidelight bulbs to LED's and if so did you get canbus free one's or wire a resistor and if so do they work ok? Cheers guys :D

I want a M sport front bumper for mine, would it go straight on or are the touring and saloon slightly different dimensions?

That's the plan just some HID's & LED's to replace the existing bulbs, re-furbed alloys abit lower and a re-map then after that maybe some light tints updated front indicators, all black kidneys, would like a sport front bumper aswell, could go on but the reason I bought it was to save on juice and ill just spend what I save in mods, nothing stupid or chavish just nice subtle changes.

I did try and unlock the door with the key the other day and its probably never been done before so I've probably broken it myself, I'll pop the door card off and have a look It's probably an easy fix.

No won't be doing that just tasteful mods, new front bumper, re-furbed alloys in anthracite, some bulb changes, re-map and half leather, needs some rust sorting first before anything and would like a new head unit with usb for my I Pod and that's about it, oh and coilovers eventually.

Hi guys/gals just a quicky is there a special way of operating the drivers door lock with the key? I've tried to lock and unlock the car with the key but it just turns and does nothing so either i'm doing something wrong or it's goosed which leads to my next question, is this a common fault and is it easily fixed? Cheers :D

Can get Nexens for 60quid a corner fitted but after buying the car then paying the extra insurance and I need to sort a few other things on it before tyres so they'll have to wait, pitty they ain't the same size as my Lex alloys I've got 2 pirellis and 2 bridgestones on them which are all really good tyres.

I only have one m8 want to put Nexens all round but at the moment funds won't allow.
