    Delayed Acceleration At Take Off (1St Gear)

    Hi all New to the bmw world, I have a 320D 2003 6speed. As above .. Delayed power, it's ok once the turbo kicks in but !Removed! fords 1.1 are leaving me at the lights lol. My friend says it's because it's a Diesel, Is he right ?? Thanks all. Mark
