  1. Anybody have an idea as it's really baffling me now lol
  2. The servo and master cylinder that were sent were wrong so no luck as yet. I too have read those threads hence the purchase of the relevant parts. I have no ruff idle though and the non return value on the vacuum hose is working. So I'm almost certain it's servo related
  3. Ok thanks dude. Think I'm just going to wire the fogs up to main bean and drill a side light bulb in them so they lightly glow when driving. And as for the brakes I have another servo and master cylinder with vacuum hose to fit at the weekend. Fingers crossed it works
  4. But it free wheels well? Ordered a servo and master cylinder today tobswap over at the weekend hoping that's the cause after doing some research
  5. When accelerating hard in my 325i vert I seem to get a bad knocking rumbling from towards the rear of the car. Am I correct in guessing it's the prop shaft bearing or whatever it's called? It only seems to be in second which is what confuses me? Any help will be appreciated guys and gals :-)
  6. As the title says, just got myself a 1993 325i vert and the brake pedal is rock solid?! Any ideas on what could be the cause?
  7. Hi all my name is jason, I'm 27 years old and own a 1993 325i convertible. I have two kids and love anything with an engine. I've owned my vert for about a week now and am staring the long winded process of trying to restore her. Body wise she is pretty straight but I'm sure the front off side wing has been replaced and a respray on rear nearside quarter as paint lacquer has flaked a little on those panels. All in all she is a tidy car and is a full m3 rep (I'd like to say m3 evo but I'm not 100% sure) I'm looking for a little bit of help with some work on her as the brake pedal is solid and not very effective lol. Reading up it seems that it's not an uncommon thing but still haven't found any air leaks on vacuum? The roof didn't work when I got it but after doing some research I managed to re-sync it and get it Working :-) and the cream leather interior is worse for wear. Drivers seat is very cracked and all other seats are faded and grubby aswell as the door cards and rear panels. Also the fog lights don't seem to be working? Now for the questions lol, where abouts does the vacuum pipe for the brake servo come from? As I hear what seems to be hissing from under the inlet manifold but can't feel or see where it's coming from?! And also when fitting front fogs to a model without them from factory am I right in thinking the wires would be there but a fuse needs to be fitted to power them? Any help is much appreciated.
