  1. Hi all, I'm Elliott, I'm from Southampton and I bought my first BMW last month. It's an E39 523i and I love it! Hopefully won't require to much from the tech minds on here but I can contribute to the "banter"! :)
  2. Hi all, I've bought an E39 523i 2000 not so long ago When I finished work last night it was a bit chilly so I turned the heaters on for the first time and only got freezing cold air (engine temp at mid point). The passenger side blowers will throw out a small amount of tepid air at low fan speeds but goes back to freezing at higher speeds. The drivers side throws out cold air at any speed. The air con is off and I tried at a range of temperatures on the climate control. I've never had dual zone before and it's confusing the hell out for me! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Elliott
  3. £3000 should get you a really nice one! I bought one last month for £1250 and it's superb. 111000 miles with 2 owners... Just keep searching, the ideal one will come up a good price! Might be worth checking the air pump on the rear suspension as they can be quite expensive to replace. Just sit on the rear bumper and you should hear the pump come on and raise the back up to compensate for your weight. Check the model though as not all of them had it! Good luck
