had new pads fitted but can't reprogram brake service light on computer on my 2012 116 ed does it have to go back to dealer

my second hand 116d has a 5 yr service pack it's coming up to 3. Year old and a service is due the pack covers every thing except pads discs and brake fluid the rear pads need changing do I have to have them done by the dealer or can someone else do this

Does any one now how to get back of door mirror off to change led indercator bulb on 2012 1 series 1.6 ed
