2003 330 ci convertible auto. When I pull up to stop there is a clunk when I assume first gear is engaged, along with a shunt. Any ideas what is causing this?

So it turns out it's not the roof that is stupid. I hadn't put the space saver lever thingy back properly :(.

2003 330 Ci convertible. Anyone have any thoughts as to why my roof would suddenly decide to stop working? It's stuck in the down position. The dashboard button comes on (shows yellow) but nothing moves. On the key the windows will go down but the roof remains immovable. Any suggestions as to what I can try would be very welcome!

Thanks Daz. I have ordered a Renovo cleaning product. I have used their water proofing product on my Stag in the past and was pleased with the results.

Cleaned my 330 Ci convertible at the weekend. Looked great. Even moved it so it wasn't underneath some trees. Then the inevitable happened, bird sh*t all over the rook - like a row of machine gun bullets :angry:. Any tips on the best thing to clean fabric soft tops?

Cheers. I can't believe how well it drove on the test drive for an 11 year old 76k miler. Like it was new. Stags in BRG are indeed lovely. I prefer blue though. If I could work out how to stick a picture on here I would!

Hi. Introducing myself as a soon to be owner of a silver auto 2003 330 Ci (currently waiting for delivery - it's like being five years old again on Christmas eve). The new car will be my second BMW, the first being a 2004 645 from a few years ago. I have to admit that my heart belongs to a 1973 Triumph Stag though!
